Welcome to the Mid Ohio Chapter of HDI

The Mid-Ohio Chapter, a local chapter of the national HDI, was founded on May 16, 1991. Our membership is composed of Help Desk staff, consultants, technicians, managers, vendors and others who are active in the help desk, customer support and customer service fields. We draw our members from Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati and the surrounding areas.

Attend a chapter meeting - you will find an enthusiatic group of Help Desk professionals who are passionate about the service we provide to our customers.

Who are the attendees?

Some of us have internal customers (employees), while others have a mix of internal and external customers. We remain focused on the tradition of supporting Information Technology for our user communities.

For some, we work to achieve corporate goals, for others we work to achieve local government or higher education goals. Underlying our support of I.T., achieving organizational goals is the fundamental reason that our Help Desks exist. We must be able to serve our customer base in efficient and meaningful ways.

Extra Incentive!

When you attend meetings you are automatically entered into a drawing for a free registration to the Annual HDI National Conference.

The Next National Conference is the Service Management Conference in Miami, Florida October 15-17, 2008.

Congratulations MOHDI!

2007 HDI Circle of Excellence

Help Desk Institute Circle of Excellence

For the second consecutive year, the Mid-Ohio Chapter of HDI has achieved the Circle of Excellence! This years' honor has been awarded at the Platinum Level, which in no way tarnishes last years' Gold.
To a reach the Circle of Excellence there are criteria about chapter member involvement, officer participation, event coordination and website administration. Each of these criteria has been established so that the local chapter members benefit the most. By having an active chapter, every member wins!

Thank you to the members and officers who make up this terrific team!

Let's make 2008 our third circle of excellence year in a row!
